Over the past few months, at Calisteniapp we have been working on something big: a complete redesign of the training program planning system.
We want your experience to be more personal, more flexible, and smarter, truly adapting to your needs and lifestyle.

This update is key: Programs 2.0 is the foundation of a new way of training, with you at the center.
Additionally, we are introducing major improvements in stability, visualization, and control across all areas of the app.

Introducing Programs 2.0

We have completely redesigned program planning:

  • Choose the exact start date for your program.
  • Estimated end date adapts to your training days.
  • Recover missed sessions or reschedule without affecting your calendar.
  • Adjust the number of weekly workouts at any time.
  • Repeat or skip phases based on your progress.
  • Renewed interface: clearly visualize your progress, completed sessions, and upcoming ones.
  • A clearer and more organized session history.
  • Restart or abandon a program easily if your goals change.
  • Start from a more advanced phase if you already have experience.

More control, more clarity, more flexibility.

UX/UI Improvements

  • New onboarding: Faster and clearer so you can start training without complications.
  • Optimization for small devices: Better reading and navigation experience.
  • Smart automatic start: If you don't set a start date, the program will automatically begin on your first available day.
  • Renewed planning interface: More visual information and better navigation.
  • Simplified sharing: Share images without extra help texts.

Bug Fixes and Technical Improvements

  • Higher priority and visibility: We ensure your training reminders aren't missed.
  • Fixes in EVO routines: Resolved issues with repeated exercises or incorrect progressions.
  • Persistent notification fix: Solved a bug where the final action was unresponsive.
  • Transparent icons fixed: Improved graphic display on all devices.

We’ve redesigned the app from top to bottom, introducing improvements and new features thanks to your support and suggestions.   • Now sharing routines with friends is easier than ever.
  • You can use the more than 500 routines in the app as templates to create custom routines. See a routine you don't like an exercise in? Create an editable copy and adapt the routine to your needs.
  • Redesigned planner with a new training calendar where you can view past and future workouts.
  • More complete training logs, with all the information about the exercises and sets performed.
  • Completely renewed training experience, with the ability to save your progress in a much more detailed way, adding comments, weights used, sensations, and more.
  • Improvements in the content search engine, with more filters and better load times.
  • Now you can save any content to bookmarks for easy access: routines, programs, exercises, whatever you want!
  • General interface fixes and minor bug corrections.
